WELCOME TO THE official unofficial NATURE JOURNAL CLUB
(FOR EVERYONE)
WE ARE ALL ANIMALS
WE ARE ALL ARTISTS
WE ARE ALL ARTISTS
Hello animals!
Let's face it; things are not okay right now. We need to come together to support each other more than ever, across all boundaries...but how do we connect when we're isolated? And what can serve as a connection across all of our different life experiences and situations? I think Nature can be our therapy, our tether to each other.
With the Official Unofficial, I am not attempting to foster a typical approach to the concept of nature journaling or plein air artistry, but to go deeper, especially now, to become a support system, a scaffolding to hold us all up during a time when everything seems to be falling apart.
If you are located in South Florida, join me in person for a Nuture|Nature session. If you are elsewhere (and who isn't?), you can join me via Zoom. I will provide a little guidance, info, exercises to try together, and prompts. We'll create stories, document change and stasis, find patterns, share knowledge.
The next time, we'll do it all again.
You don't need any special skills. You don't have to consider yourself an artist or a writer or a naturalist.
You already are.
All bodies and abilities welcome.
If this sounds like something you'd be into, then:
